The Royal Family has been completed. All research has been done and connected to our family, duBois/Van Meteren. I have been working on the Royal Family for a long time and with the help of Nannie Mae Dorsey's research, I feel confident the information is correct. This connects us to Charlemagne, the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Very interesting.
If you see a big boo boo that needs to be researched, please contact me at email@example.com
We are having some difficulties with the photos that come up in random order on our Welcome Page. In some cases, rather than a photo appearing, you will see what resembles a movie reel. Beneath the reel will be the name of the person who should be pictured. To see the photo of the person named, just click on the words “View Person†which is located just under the person’s name.
I hope you will enjoy our website. Glynda and I have worked very hard for you and our family to enjoy. Since we started this website, many new people have come into our lives and we would like hearing from you about the site.
With the help of many, including Nannie Mae Dorsey (McFarland) who was instrumental with the research of DAR and the duBois Societies, we were able to prove most of our work. Also, with the help at the beginnings with the Fitzgerald Family, a lot of credit goes to Yslete LaBerge for sharing her work with us. And of course that goes for the many many people who have contacted us through time. Thank You!!!
After much research on the Van Meter family it was a shock to learn that our family included extremely prominent people. It went from being knights to writers of famous history books to the writing of the first English speaking Bible. After arriving to the United States, it did not end in fame. It went on to the adventures of the family fighting the Indians for survival of their families, to fighting the British for freedom with George Washington. D'Arcy family name into the US - Dorsey, the famous Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey family is included.
Can you tell that I'm a name dropper and pretty damned proud of it.
How exciting it was to find out that these people were truly heros of the time and help mold our United States.
If you are kin to these families, STAND TALL AND BE PROUD!!!
We appreciate your interest in our website. Due to abuse to our website, we can no long accept new members for editing information. We are always happy and excited to find new family members. If you have additions or corrections you would like for us to make, please email either Glynda or Marian. Glynda generally does the research on the Fitzgeralds, Crabbs, Kempers and Capers. Marian does research on the Dorseys, the Van Meters, the Yagers and others that come from that line of our family.
